Thank you, Steve Wolf, for bringing the wonderful White Flag Middle Schoolers for an intense day of digging, brush hog work, painting and trail maintenance.  All that after a sleep over.  You girls Rock! Too busy to take a photo but they left their imprint on our ranch and the hearts of children they may never meet.

Thank you ONE MORE TIME WINDSOR ELEMENTARY!  Windsor students and faculty have been involved in supporting our program since 2009.  This years' "Pennies for Ponies" fundraiser was over the top with 2 winning classrooms visiting the ranch to meet their new horse friends and see firsthand what their donations support.  The hayride and photos with our new quarter draft "Clyde" rounded out the morning.  They are always a joy to welcome to the Ranch.  Happy trails to all!

2021 Thank You Jefferson Foundation for your continued support and awarding a $10,000 Grant to support our program.

Our Spring 2021 season ended with a great Rodeo in our new covered arena.  We are grateful to the Waldrop  Family and their foundation for helping build this great addition to the ranch.  It did rain the day of the Rodeo but we were under cover and the festivities continued without interruption.  Thank you, Waldrop Family, for your generosity.  Our 94 Riders enjoyed a wonderful day in part because of you.

Capt. Mark Chrun addressing his mighty teams before the start of their annual fundraising event.  We are grateful to have been chosen as this summer's recipient.  Some of these fire fighters came on 2 hours of sleep to honor their commitment to supporting local organizations.  Over $7,000 was raised to benefit our program.  We are overwhelmed with their generosity and spirit.  Thank you sometimes just isn't a big enough word.  Their "fun" will adopt "The Captain" and care for all his needs in our program.

Festus Home Depot

Thank you for the $2,000 Grant supplying cabinets, pavers and all the right "stuff" to give us a professional look.  Brandon, Jarrad and "J" were just unbelieveable in expertise and hard work.  We are very grateful for their gift of time and knowledge. "J" was so stealth we didn't get his photo...but those pavers are perfect!

Arnold VFW Post No.2593 Auxiliary hosts a "Black Light Bingo Bash"

The Auxiliary planned and created a most memorable evening for their Post as well as the families and volunteers of Helping Hands and Horses.  The decorations, games, raffles, and entertainment were exceptional.  The $2,000 in funds will be used to support the newly established Veterans' riding program.  As the program grows, additional horses and training will be purchased for our Veterans and riding trails will be upgraded to accommodate their needs.  We are extremely grateful to have the VFW's  partnership in offering this horse assisted therpay opportunity to those who gave their service to our country.  Thank you!

Local Girl Scouts Lend Helping Hands

Members of Arnold Girl Scout Troop 2033 wanted to find a way to help children in their community and earn the Girl Scout Silver Award. The group decided to work with Helping Hands and Horses, an equine therapy program for children with special needs. The girls saw an opportunity to add new activities to the program after volunteering at the site with their middle school.
