Helping Hands and Horses, Inc
Mission
In partnership with the community, serve Children, Adults, and Veterans, from the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area, with physical or occupational needs build a positive self-concept and support their families with respite by providing personalized equine assisted therapy, at no cost.
Thank you to our donors!
Because of your generosity, we are able to serve adults and children with a variety of disabilities.
Our therapeutic horseback riding program started with 3 horses, 3 volunteers, and 5 families one day a week. Today, we have 13 horses, 150+ volunteers, and serve 100 families combined in our Special Olympic Equestrian Program, Therapy Program and Veterans Ride programs.
Our 2008-2016 Benefactors
Our Fabulous Volunteers: Our most valuable asset is our fabulous volunteers. The outreach that extends from their dedication to HHH keeps the program young, vibrant, alive and growing. We consistently maintain a 3-year wait list for riders and the quickest way to get them off the list is to increase our volunteer base. Consider volunteering today!
